schauplatz international is involved in the field of docu-fictional theatre. The group lives and works between Berlin (Germany), Biel and Bern (Switzerland). They are principally motivated by reality, which on the stage is operated upon, like an artificial heart on the operation table.

For the theatre de la grenouille in Biel (Switzerland), Matthias Wyder composed an electro soundtrack for the piece Garuma. The premier was held in March 2005 and the play is presently on tour (May 2006).
